According to OSHA, a confined space is a space that:
Is large enough and configured in a way that an employee can enter into it to perform work
• Has limited or restricted means for entry or exit
• Is not designed for continuous employee occupation

Entering into any of these areas may be necessary for getting the job done, but it could be made safer through proper identification!
